Mother's Day 2010

Chad made this Mother's Day really special for me:) We went to church and were greatly blessed by the sermon and fellowship. I can't even begin to explain how God has increased my faith and given me grace in just the past weeks. He is revealing how big He is to me in a new way. It would take more than a lifetime to stare at His character. I have just seen a taste of it in just a handful of years, yet even that takes my breath away.
After church we came home and rested. Chad let me keep resting when Isaac woke up and took care of him for me. Later we went out to an early dinner and then went to the beach! What a great day!

Isaac has been loving to run towards me as fast as he can and give me a big hug and kiss! How much more fun can you get little man?!

Maternity dress given to me by my new friend Claudia. She has been a gift from God in so many ways.

Another Baby BOY!!

Isaac and Mommy at the Ultrasound when we found out we are having another baby Boy!!!

baby tummy at 17 weeks
I am now 19 weeks along and I am so thankful to be over the pregnacy sickness for the most part, or at least the worst of it. We are so happy to have another boy. I am sure he and Isaac will be great little buddies!

Spring time is here and so the weather has been so beautiful. Isaac and I have been spending a lot of time outside! We have also been trying to go out on the beach as much as we can. We still do not know exactly when or where we will be moving this August or September. It has been a huge test of faith to trust in God's sovereign hand. But He is giving us grace to rest in Him. The baby's due date is September 7th so we will see if I have the baby here or in a new place. This is really hard for me because I feel like I am already baby "nesting", wanting to get all settled and secure in a place with my two babies.. God is huge and beyond my understanding, He created the heavens and all that we see, He surely is able and willing to work all things for good for His children, those who love Him.
Romans 8:28 " And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to His purpose."
Isaac is growing and learning so much. I can not believe how much I love him...it is just too much for words:) He is 18 months now and is quite the little man.

Privileges

O Lord God,
Teach me to know that grace precedes, accompanies, and follows my salvation, that is sustains the redeemed soul, that not one link of its chain can ever break.
From Calvary's cross wave upon wave of grace
reaches me,
deals with my sin,
washes me clean,
renews my heart,
strengthens my will,
draws out my affection,
kindles a flame in my soul,
rules throughout my inner man,
consecrates my every thought, word, work,
teaches me thy immeasurable love.
How great are my privileges in Christ Jesus!
Without him I stand far off, a stranger, an outcast;
in him I draw near and touch his kingly sceptre.
Without him I dare not lift up my guilty eyes;
in him I gaze upon my Father-God and Friend.
Without him I hide my lips in trembling shame;
in him I open my mouth in petition and praise.
Without him all is wrath and consuming fire;
in him is all love, and the repose of my soul.
Without him is gaping hell below me, and eternal
anguish;
in him its gates are barred to me by his precious
blood.
Without him darkness spreads its horrors in front;
in him an eternity of glory is my boundless
horizon.
Without him all within me is terror and dismay.
in him every accusation is charmed into joy and
peace.
Without him all things external call for my
condemnation;
in him they minister to my comfort.
and are to be enjoyed with thanksgiving.
Praise be to thee for grace,
and for the unspeakable gift of Jesus.

&Devotions Edited by Arthur Bennett

I opened to this prayer the other night and it has become such a comforting thing to read right before I go to bed. "When the cares of my heart are many (which happens a lot right as I try to go to sleep), your consolations cheer my soul." Psalm 94:19
